Groupwork is a method of social work practice involving participants in a group setting to develop solutions to issues together and to learn from each other.
Pit Stop is a 10-session preventive programme consisting of classroom and outdoor sessions. The programme adopts activity-based learning approaches and is conducted in a small group. It comprises of core components in strengths finding, decision making, building communication skills, increasing emotional awareness and improving relationships. Pit Stop has been conducted in 2 primary schools within our service boundary and the programme has been running since 2014.
